Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations and ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities:
- Screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and, when applicable, mixing medications.
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately.
- Perform medication reconciliation as required.
- Enter prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy system.
- Assist with prescription filling and processing.
- Assist with investigational drug studies, as applicable.
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions.
- Assist customers and provide professional service.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established pharmacy procedures.
- Handle pharmacy-related equipment and DME (Durable Medical Equipment), as applicable.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, coworkers, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Pharmacy Technician certification/license, if required by state regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of prescription processing and medication preparation.
- Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and data entry.
- DME knowledge or experience is a plus.
- Cash-handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
